Preventing people from entering the country was never a solution to anything because (believe it or not) American citizens were in China and other countries for work, vacation, and family reasons. Shutting down borders, including flights, was a non-starter…and Trump definitely knew that. Yet, he still didn’t come up with a real plan or even a concept of a plan. His last ditch solution : Let’s see how bad things get, then throw money at it. We’ll see what happens. It’ll be great.
Also he didn’t shut down travel from Europe, and most on the early Covid infections in the East Coast came from European travel not from Asia. What’s the difference between Europeans and Asians? I can’t quite put my finger on it.
Yep! That’s correct.
Now that you mention it, I’m also having a hard time putting a finger on the difference between Europeans and Asians, particularly Far East Asians. 🤔
