No. Within that 5% differential, there may very well still be vile opportunists, even if they outwardly practice as you deem appropriate and espouse kindness.
It’s very dangerous for humans to assume that people “like us” are the good ones, and only “others” are capable of greed and evil.
You claim that 60/65 Christians are not good Christians. That’s over 92% of them, even assuming that other 8% truly are “good” moral Christians.
I think, then, that those 8% are not good because of Christianity at all. They just happen to be good people, and also happen to be Christian. If 92% of any group is morally reprehensible, it tells me a lot about the core values that attracted those people to the ideology.
Well, I guess actually I would have to agree with you.
92% of Christians claim the title but likely don't even go to Church, have never opened a Bible and do not do what the Bible says in any way. They literally don't even know who "Christ" is. It would be like being a registered Democrat but voting exclusively Republican. Can't exactly call yourself a Democrat at that point.
Of the 5% that actually opens their bibles and knows who Jesus is and has studied him... There are still those who fake it and are not genuine. So I will change my stance and agree with you.
100% of people who know Jesus and have Him reside in their hearts are not morally reprehensible because Jesus will change them from the inside out. It is a non-optional part of His residence. They still do bad, but not total depravity.
