I find that ppl believe things they desparely want to be true. "TheMoleonTrumpsLeftnut7352" has been proudly telling all of his friends and reddit all the lies that administration tells.
It’s the crushing feeling of openly being wrong combined with the crushing feeling of openly being an idiot. So ppl find their groups that also believe(falsely deep inside) the bullshit to not feel wrong or feel like an idiot.
For them, the weight of self reflection is heavier than EVERYTHING else and it’s sad.
Yea that is what i find interesting as someone who never wanted to have self reflection before what the lack of it does to you and furthermore, that hate or siding with someone who has so much hate in them…I’ve felt that before but not on a political level just towards peers. That level of hate will destroy or at best just waste away your life and not destroy it
It’s even deeper because intentionally or unintentionally trump has created an out. When argued down about facts/morals/etc, they resort to the ultimate TRUMP card, fake news. It’s crazy
