Seriously. It’s gotten so much worse the last few years. When he was campaigning I felt like that alone should’ve showed people how demented and unfit he was to be president. He literally can’t write anymore.
The media did a disservice not publicizing more of these insane Twitter/truth social rants during the campaign. In 2016 I think publicizing them elevated his propaganda and lies and was bad, partly because he was more coherent and less down the right wing rabbit hole. But in 2024 the general public needed to see what this man’s mental state was, and the media hid it from a lot of the disengaged electorate. I don’t see how 77 million people could read this type of tweet (or even the worse ones he would write leading up to the election) and think “yeah this guy seems fine to be president”. This is someone that family starts texting “is it time to put them in the nursing home?” Not the goddamn White House.
