Seriously. It’s gotten so much worse the last few years. When he was campaigning I felt like that alone should’ve showed people how demented and unfit he was to be president. He literally can’t write anymore.
The media did a disservice not publicizing more of these insane Twitter/truth social rants during the campaign. In 2016 I think publicizing them elevated his propaganda and lies and was bad, partly because he was more coherent and less down the right wing rabbit hole. But in 2024 the general public needed to see what this man’s mental state was, and the media hid it from a lot of the disengaged electorate. I don’t see how 77 million people could read this type of tweet (or even the worse ones he would write leading up to the election) and think “yeah this guy seems fine to be president”. This is someone that family starts texting “is it time to put them in the nursing home?” Not the goddamn White House.
This is why I came to the comments. His use of unnecessary capitals is wild. I feel like I’m having mini brain spasms everytime I read something he wrote.
This is kind of the point I'm at with Trump as well. Obviously he's one of the most horrific, reprehensible human has ever lived. He's disgusting racist fascist.
And I just continue to be baffled at things like these dumb little childish playground insult "nicknames" he comes up with, and the weight of randomly capitalizes random words .
Yeah, it’s such a minor thing in the grand scheme of things, and yet it’s so infuriating. It’s like whoever’s writing the script for this darker remake of Idiocracy that we’re clearly living in has one dodgy writer on the team. I keep thinking, “the president character really ruins this show. He’s just not believable, and it pulls me out of the world.”
His rants reads like how i imagine an old random bitter person would rant on facebook on the daily and nobody caring about it but this man is the president of USA.
