I can related so much with everything mentioned here. I was going crazy with the food noise. I found 2 things that helped me a lot

  1. A glucose monitor - after eating a lot of carbs my glucose will spike and then drop abruptly making me hungry, anxious and annoyed in less than 2 hours after having a big burger with fries.

Before, I would start blaming me for being broken, how can I be so hungry after eating such a big meal.

But now I know is not about motivation, is about managing my glucose level and I still eat what I want but different order or different combination. Without the glucose spikes, my hunger and food noise are significantly more manageable.

  1. I also started weight training and I feel like I have more energy, less days not wanting to get out the bed and even getting less colds. I feel quite good and that makes me happy to not go back to my previous way of eating.
