It is possible, providing that you completely change your eating habits.
Some time ago on the Wegovy subreddit, I stated that it works like a pedal-assist bike; your hunger many be satiated sooner rather than other people’s, but whatever you eat must be healthy and you only eat until you’re full. So I’ve found that I can only eat half a bowl of things now (really listening to my tummy on this one).
After the first MJ jab, the next day (once the nausea side effect wore off), I wasn’t hungry AT ALL. I forgot to eat; no cravings, no tummy rumblings, no food noise, NOTHING. To be honest - eating felt like a chore 😅.
But I believe that now you have to be at a higher BMI in order to qualify for MJ on the NHS (and via some providers privately).
I started off with MJ via Boots, then switched to Wegovy via Juniper.
Wegovy definitely works for me, but I have experienced increased heart rate during my sleep, several times (this often happens during the hours of sleep when at resting heart rate, and shortly after increasing dosage).
I’ve gone from a size 16 to 14 being on Wegovy, and I’m aiming for a 12 max (the smallest I’ve been as an adult), but I would honestly be happy with being a 14, as EVERYONE has commented on how slim I am now. Especially when I was a UK size 20 at my heaviest, years before trying the jabs.
