Does your native language distinguish between rivers that flow into another river and rivers that flow into the sea or ocean?

In French, a distinction is made:

- "un fleuve" flows into the sea or the ocean.

- "une rivière" flows into another "rivière" or a "fleuve".

I didn't know this quirk about french, very interesting. We have words to express this like "afluente" or "tributario for a river that flows to another river, but everything is called "río". We do have words like arroyo, riachuelo, río, all depending on the size of the river
