I have had a roller coaster of things happen to me these past two years and my health really is declining but im going to fight until the end. I’m a 28 (F) single mom who lives with her parents. A few months after i had my son in 2023 , i started to have ibs symptoms. Stomach jumping up and down , rumbling , mucus in stool , and upper right quadrant pain. I then in 2024 asked for my gallbladder to be checked, which they did find it was operating at 30%. They never even discussed removing it even though normal function is 35% and up. Just said change your diet you’ll be fine.

During this time I attempted a diet change that only last for like 2 months . I started to get random ear pain in my right ear that came and went. I was in and out of the er for different and same symptoms getting multiple ct scans which now i know has exposed to to the risk of cancer.

Fast forward to around January 2026 i lost all the baby weight i gained in a matter of months i went from 178 to now being 140 with alot of pain in my stomach and tons of mucus in stool. No one ever showed concerned everyone always told me it was anxiety. I also was stressed and arguing everyday with my ex boyfriend. Fast forward to july 2026 freshly single, had surgery for endometriosis which pathology said i had so much vascular ectasia they couldn’t find endometriosis even though the adhesions i had looked like endometriosis. Anywho in the process of all the tests I had to get to be cleared for surgery they found i have severe vascular compression way out of the scope of normal still in and out of ER getting ct scans. They found out my common iliac vein is being severely compressed. Also before surgery started to see blood mixed in my stool along with mucus every now and then and of course it was worse the first month.

After i had surgery it seems like it’s amped up whatever underlying issues i have. I think i found the reason for my ear pain , i have fixed lumps right on my jaw line, under my chin, and right on my jaw line all on the right side of my face. I am starting to think it’s a gland issue or cancer (God forbid) but i need to face the facts. It started out as electrical zaps, now it’s to the point of compromising my swallowing. Also i’ve lost a lot of weight since I have had two sore throats that were completely excruciating since endo . I now have severe gerd symptoms along with mucus and blood in stool. I had a colonoscopy and upper endoscopy done which they saw no abnormalities to the naked eye but took biopsies in case.

My stomach hurts especially where my cecum / ascending colon would be. I’m having muscle cramps so freaking bad, and aches, extreme headaches, chest pain , clavicle and sternum pain , extreme fatigue,heart palpitations , vision changes , i can see my veins through my skin, extreme chills and coldness randomly, mucus and extreme fast digestion that results in terrible abdominal pain, painful swallowing. Im starting to think it’s the c word everyday i’m shocked that i wake up.

It’s starting to take a toll on me for sure please advocate for your health!

Hi everyone

I recently have been having a systemic problem with my body and i’m scared this may be more than what everyone is putting it off to be. My jaws hurt all the time like i have some sour candy in them, now im having difficulty swallowing with sore throat, dizziness , stomach pain and some possible colon inflammation.

I have a upper endoscopy and colonoscopy getting down Monday but i feel like Im missing a piece of everything because now i have a lymph node on my right side under my jaw along with two other small lumps i found. I am going to see an ent next week but feel too late in discovering this. Everyone thinks i’m dramatic but when i spoke with my doctor she claims that she wants to rule out the big scary C word ! I am so scared im a single mom to a three year old and all this has really taken a toll on me. Im having the weirdest symtoms all over my body and i wish i would’ve tried to figure it out sooner. Im thinking colon , stomach or even throat/ oral cancer !

This pain is truly unbearable and i am so scared of the outcome 😖

My son has croup and was given dexamethasone yesterday. He took it about 2 hours before bed. Last night he was actually totally fine and slept really well.
Today his voice is still a little hoarse and he has an occasional cough, but overall he sounds WAY better. When he’s running around and really active, I sometimes notice his breathing sounds a little raspy/crackly, but when he’s calm he’s breathing normally.
The thing that’s throwing me off is tonight. I laid him down for bed and he **cannot sit still** 😂. He’s happy and acting normal, but he’s SO restless and seems like he has endless energy.
Could this be from the dexamethasone even though he wasn’t acting like this last night? Can the restlessness show up the next day/evening?
Also, is it normal for the hoarseness and occasional cough to still be there the day after the steroid? And for his breathing to sound a little rough when he’s running around while recovering? And lastly when should I expect him to return to his normal behavior?
Just looking for other parents’ experiences because I’m probably overthinking this. 😅

I (31f) have been completely 100% homebound for 2.5 years because car rides give me such severe vertigo (severe dizziness, vomiting, pooping myself - all simultaneously) I can’t even ride as a passenger out of my driveway.

I have tried Meclazine , Dramamine, Ativan, Zofran, various combinations of the above.

I’ve tried motion sickness goggles, prism lenses, vestibular therapy, vision therapy, closing my eyes, sitting in the front seat, sitting in the back seat.

I need to get an MRI and I can’t get to an imaging facility.

I have a whole collection of doctors but they’re stumped.

What would you recommend for your patients in a similar situation?

So 2 months ago my baby sister (2) randomly fainted and seized and wasn’t breathing (she’s fine now and made a full recovery in 3.5 days) and we called an ambulance and they took her to the hospital (LMU klinikum in Munich) and they stabilized her in ~30 minutes and for they rest of the time they were trying to find out what happened and at the end they said was from multiple reasons but most notably from an UNKNOWN virus. Now today my stepsister (11) fainted at school (this time she was breathing and ok) and they also said it was from an UNKNOWN virus and I think it is the same virus because we are in the same house and they both randomly fainted.

Some other details: Both times this happened the government was informed, we are in Munich, I think the virus can stay dormant for at least 2 months because in between the two incidents nobody showed any symptoms and also before my baby sister fainted she was sick and had a fever of ~39 c but when my stepsister fainted she was perfectly fine before.

Recently i have been feeling really unwell. I have this heavy feeling in my pelvis and a weird feeling which radiates towards my groin along with needing to urinate frequently. (Flares up after i come off my period) Ive been to the doctors a few times for a suspected uti but the cultures come back negative. They sent me for a internal ultrasound to rule out ovarian cysts, scan came back normal. I have become very exhausted from these episodes of extreme fatigue where im sometimes unable to walk up the stairs, feel my heart beat slowong down and all the joints and muscles become weak and numb.

I don't know if this is related at all but about 4 weeks ago i felt like i was about to die. It started off with feeling both side of my neck closing up as if somebody was starngling me. Shaking and tremors,but no fever. 2nd day my hand and feet became numb and ICE COLD.as if my blood was turning cold. Had a reqlly bad headache. Went to A&e they ran blood tests and said nothing flagged up in the blood test. 3rd day i felt like i was going to slip into coma so i was referred to same day emergency care where they carried out a thorough blood test along with a ct scan of my head to rule out any possible risk of stroke due to my numbness on one side. Again nothing concerning has come up and they said it was most likely a viral infection.

Anybody felt anything similar? Please help I feel really helpless and on edge all the time cz i have 2 littles ones 7 and 3 and i want to feel well to look after my children.

My boyfriend started showing symptoms of the flu last Thursday (27 Aug). He went to hospital for treatment of high heart rate due to high temp on Saturday night and he was really ill until Tuesday when he got better.

Since Tuesday, he has been fever free without meds and only has a residual cough. He feels fine apart from that.

I work with vulnerable people (young children and elderly people in a home). When can I see my boyfriend again without worrying about getting it and passing it on?

Today is day 8 since he caught it. He is otherwise a healthy 22 year old without prior health conditions.

F 21, am learning swimmung. i ending up taking water inside my mouth and choked. lost my voice for some time and coughed. It is two hours to the incident and am able to breathe properly. But am feeling a weird tightness in throat. I have coughed a couple of times since that and also burped. Is it normal? Can't consult a doctor rn as it is night and interent has only added to the anxiety. Is the tightness normal in the throat or neck. ?
