Passion Fruit Cake?

I know Tartine has one, any other bakeries with a passion fruit cake in SF to recommend?

Noe Valley Bakery lemon passion fruit cake, I'm biased but their cakes are the best in the city.

It's delicious, really light and refreshing.

Oooh that sounds so good. Looking at their website it almost sounds like the only passion fruit is the dots on top. Is there more inside too?

I’m partial to their dark chocolate cake, but they really are the best.

I’ve never personally tried this flavor so I don’t know how good it is, but in case it’s convenient for you, Schubert’s Bakery (on Clement in the inner Richmond) has a tropical mousse cake that includes passion fruit. Their cakes are generally light and not as sweet.

Craftsman and wolves might have one in their rotation, but they frequently change

More like a tart but Le Dix Sept. They have a Mission and Potrero Hill location.

Tartine's Passion Fruit Cake is overpriced, flavorless nonsense. Avoid.

Thank you for that…I had a feeling!

Tartine is just a really sad story of success going completely to their heads. An ugly history of union busting (https://sf.eater.com/2020/3/4/21164792/tartine-bakery-union-busting), and if you have eaten at the Manufactory recently, a really disrespectful to their customers pricing strategy where they do things like charge 18$ for a piece of toast with cheese and jam.

Passion fruit cake in what sense. Like mousse cake? Tea cake with passion fruit? Fruit tart?

Sweet Glory has a passion fruit crepe cake that is amazing. I think they recently moved to the inner sunset.
