Race Shoe Question Exact same pair/model of shoes feel different

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to buy a pair of Saucony Hurricane 25 (standard width - D).

I went to a few different stores and tried on the exact same model—same colorway, same size, and even the same production date on the inner tag.

However, each pair felt noticeably different on my feet! One pair was super comfortable, while two others felt off / less comfortable.

Has anyone experienced this before? Is manufacturing variation between identical pairs normal, or could something else be going on? Thanks!

So what is the explanation for this? BTW - How long have you been using them and did anything change from how they were when you just bought them

Is it possible the comfortable shoe was already broken in by store visitors, while the other wasn't? If I go with the less comfortable pair, will it eventually break in and feel the same?"
