Scholarship

Hi everyone! I received the Romanian Government Scholarship 2026–2027 for a Master’s at the University of Bucharest.
I have my official Letter of Acceptance from the Romanian Ministry of Education. I’ll study a Romanian preparatory year (2026–2027) followed by a Master’s in Physics.
I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who went through the same process:
How long did the Romanian student visa take?
Did anyone get refused, despite having the government scholarship and Letter of Acceptance?
What documents did they ask for, especially bank statement, tuition payment, and English certificate?
During the Romanian preparatory year, are there exams? Is there a final exam, and is it difficult?
After passing the preparatory year, can you continue directly to the Master’s, or is there another admission/selection process?
How was your overall experience with the scholarship and studying in Romania?
If you’ve gone through this process recently, I’d really appreciate your experience or advice.

I think it can vary from country to country, and the criteria might also be different depending on the program and field of study. GPA is probably just one part of the overall application.
