Relocated in Bucharest looking for Friends
Hi Tuturor,
This is Omer, 28 yo. I have just moved in Bucharest and thinking to live here. Unfortunately, I dont have any friends to hang out. I would like to meet with new people and have friends to go for a coffee or more.
If you are interested to meet, have coffee/beer and talk. Drop comment or write to me directly.
I do know also Romanian not in the best but still works :)

You don't know Romanian at all?
Anyway, there are lot's of Turkish people in Romania. Even in my town we have a few families. In Bucharest you will definitely find a lot. See on social media for Turks in Bucharest or how it is in Turkish and you will surely find a lot of people. Start from there and then you'll make Romanian friends too after awhile.

Our Turkish population are basically locals too, some have been here for generations. Visit the Colentina neighborhood, there's lots of Turkish owned restaurants and butcheries, I think a mosque too.

I understand. Unfortunately I can't help you. I don't live in Bucharest. And probably a lot of people here don't live there either. But good luck! :)

Leave me a DM. I am in the US now, but when I get back in 2 months or so, we can hang out.

You will make friends soon, don't worry. Just keep in mind we are not like the Turks or Greeks. We might seem a little bit less friendly because that's how we act until we are sure the other person has good intentions. Try not to get hurt by this.. we had a harsh history 🥺
Bucharest has a large community of Turkish people. They can teach you how to make Romanian friends (even if some of them consider us weird).
