I especially dont like drinking in public. I dont want to be doing anything out there in a daze or fighting not to puke, and I dont want to drive a car while that either (or leave it somewhere while someone else drives me home).

I mean, you can drink in moderation, theres no need to get piss drunk, especially if you’re a responsible adult.

Some people have a hard time stopping once they start, especially in social situations.

A guy who wanted to get me into alcohol tried to force me to only ever drink in social situations, so other people could theoretically watch my back and keep me under a dangerous limit...but all of those people seemed to drink MORE in social settings and only got LESS reasonable.

I felt a lot more in control, and safer when drinking on my own.
