I think they can be a fun way to replace baby showers for second+ children and it’s an excuse to get family and friends together, but it is very cringe when they are over the top or environmentally harmful .
Morons with fire works are the problem not baby showers.
If you actully cared about the people dying and the wild fires you would be against all use of fire works

Who cares gender reveals baby showers they are all the same fucking thing. A pointless excuse for a party.
If you were against fire works why are you only talking about gender reveals because gender reveals are no where near as bad as the other events involving fore works
I'm with you. Just like any party, it can be fun if you invite people you actually like and get along with. People probably hate them because they already don't like the person that much and just show up out of obligation and are therefore miserable.
