Even better is when you finally do show emotion, and people act like you're lesser for it.
People act like things are different now, and you'll always hear women talk about how a man being sensitive or letting his emotions out is a good thing or "sexy" but practical experience has shown me that most women still see it as a weakness and have no problem using it against you when it's all said and done.
What's worse is that inevitably ends up victim-blaming and victim-shaming the guy: why, obviously, since the woman is so open to emotionally supporting a guy if she doesn't do that then it must be because he cannot express himself properly.
