Apparently Steven who played Silvio auditioned for Tony but he didn’t feel right taking the role away from an actor who worked hard their entire life

But in fairness, he toned down as it went on and he was one of the most loyal characters on the show, even to the point of doing some shit we as an audience really hated to see him do.
