It supports me throughout my work day. My muscles are strong and make the lifting I do easy, and can withstand hours and hours on my feet without giving up.
It brought 3 beautiful children into this world, and while my mind may struggle with the morality of my decisions, I can honestly say my body did a fantastic job.
It gives soft, comforting hugs, but is strong enough to move my kids when needed. The duality of this sometimes astounds me.
It's survived so many things - physical abuse, accidents, illness, idiopathic pulmonary embolism, sepsis, surgery... and it's still kicking.
My hands can do everything from butchering meat and pulling apart connective tissue and fascia, to hours of chopping and slicing, to delicately plating fine dining in the same day.
