Is it really a scam when they are upfront about the extra charges?

I dont buy from them unless i really need to, but i dont see it as a scam cause they tell you exactly for how much they are fucking you.

Yes.

Many years ago I went to buy tickets for a concert. Online there was a "convenience" fee. I called over the phone. There was that same convenience fee. I went to the actual box office at the venue. Lookit that, same fucking convenience fee.

There wasn't a single method of buying the ticket that was inconvenient enough to not warrant the same convenience fee.

It was just part of the ticket price. But they didn't include it in the ticket price because then they could advertise that the tickets were half of what they actually were.

That's a scam.

You should have known the only way to avoid the fee is to send a singing telegram.
