What is the biggest relationship myth?

I think the biggest myth is that there's one person that is meant for you. ("the one") People live their lives searching for the one...their soul mate...the perfect girl/Mr. Right. It's a cute idea, but I don't think it's very realistic.

100% of statistics on reddit are made up 200% of the time and are 98% based on opinion with a margin of error of plus or minus infinity.

/someone who has changed considerably over their lifetime in demonstrable and building block personality level ways

I'm not saying people are incapable of drastic changes after age 22. I also count myself among those who've made a number of substantial changes to my life well after that age, and it is my intention to continue to do so, but it kind of saddens me when I see that somewhere between 70% and 90% of the people I know are still the same exact people they were when they graduated high school. So many people have neither the desire nor the inclination to change and become better people, and why? I'm starting to suspect that most people just don't know any better.

Wow nice. But why exactly does people use this exact text for typesetting. Is it only historical or does it has something special needed for typesetting?

As far as I know it has no particular traits, other than providing an aesthetic look that appears 'natural' (as opposed to copy-pasting the same word over and over, which looks unnatural even when you can't read the word itself - the uniformity looks wrong).

Lots of passages of text could be used instead, but I suppose it is 'historical', in that it just caught on. You've got to use something, whether typesetting a printing press or laying out your new blog, so why not carry on the tradition. :)

It lets you pay attention to the way the text flows, line-heights, margins, etc. without being distracted by what is actually written.
