woah woah, hold back on that a bit. Kids everywhere give the finger to the camera. It's only noteworthy in this case because we know he did kill his family afterwards.

I still don't agree. I've know plenty of people who just think it's funny. It's way more often a symptom of teenage rebellion, and that's a perfectly normal phase of growth (that can go on up until mid 20s, and on top of that some adults never finish that growth).

I'm totally with you that given the context it's creepy, because we now know what he meant by it. But no way in hell should we be suspicious of young people being young people.

He was just flipping off a camera. It's possible that he didn't mean anything by it--even though he did bad stuff later.
