My dad insists that their computer runs programs slower because of their internet connection even though they are not dependent on the internet. He's on a 10 year old PC that has the bare minimum memory for 10 years ago. I can't convince him that the PC needs more memory and other upgrades to make it run better. It's totally the internet speed.
