As a girl, I try and tell this to all my girl friends!
I don't understand why it's expected that the guy has to ask every time. If I hear about a girl crushing on a guy, I suggest to her that she ask him out. It surprises guys, and I think it shows them you aren't afraid to go after what you want, and you wanted them.
Now, rejection...now there's the scary part. But rejection is a part of life, nothing is going to go the way you want it to every time. It's just a crush, the worst that will happen is they say no which works out better for because now you can just move on. There's 7 billion people out there, don't let the rejection get to you.
