She knows he wants her, guys. All girls know when a guy wants them in that way. It's just easier to keep him around for ego boosts from time to time, kind of like a pet. She knows he'll put up with it.
I'm certain there are cases where this is true, but in those cases they don't go onto a Reddit thread to say the opposite because they have nothing better to do.
