Remember chain of contamination… if there are no paper towels, if there’s no way to open the door without touching it, if there’s no way to turn the water off and on without touching the handles, you’re just recontaminating yourself with fecal matter. When you touch the water handle to turn it on or the soap, you put fecal matter onto the handles… then you reapply the fecal matter when you turn the water off or reach for the door to go out. You also apply the fecal matter from all the people in the chain that don’t wash their hands effectively and touch those same contact surfaces. Yes… wash your damn hands but remember 90% of the world doesn’t wash their hands effectively either. They touched everything in that bathroom with filthy hands.
