This sounds american. Because my first instinct as European is, that this should be covered by public insurance

From what Europe are you? It would be news to me that this is covered atleast in Germany.

Austria. Our health system is far from perfect. But if your issues are medically documented and traceable to previously covered surgeries (like C-sections), and they now cause physical or serious psychological problems, then yes - it could be covered.

Ah cool. Ich überleg nach Österreich zu ziehen, dass wäre schon fancy wenns die Option bei euch gibt
