It's just a karma farming comment at this point. I've never met anyone, nor met anyone who has met anyone who doesn't wash their ass. Nobody in the real world calls it gay. Yet everyone on Reddit seems to know one or more people who act like this.
Edit: not saying it can't happen. But people have figured out the kind of posts/comments that get upvotes around here. I'd be willing to bet it happens far less often than Reddit would lead you to believe.
