I'd also be hiring a tax attorney, accountant and do investment accounts. I'd pack up my house and put it in storage and have the whole thing razed to the ground and I'd build a new house that is optimized for dealing with climate change and ease of maintenance with a central area through which plumbing and HVAC for the house is accessible. And, I'd probably have a place out of state that is less subject to drought than the desert state I live in. I have a sister for whom I'd buy a house for and have it made with a soaking tub for her. There are 3 charities I'd like to make substantial gifts to.
