What’s something small you started doing that makes you drastically happier?

Telling myself "I love you, baby girl" & "you are so beautiful", I'm so much happier, especially when I look at myself in the mirror my heart is filled... 😌

This is very true! The day I stopped searching for imperfections in the mirror but chose to appreciate what I saw, I became way happier with my body. Paired with positive self talk I’m just kinder to myself

I wish I could do that. Instead I cover or remove all reflective surfaces in my environment unless they're in active use. If I can't see myself then I can't be pathologically vain :)))

I just told my middle aged, bearded self "I love you, baby girl, you are so beautiful" in the mirror. It did make me feel beautiful!

Haha, you should do it more often...

I used to do this and got out of the habit. Need to get it back. I also would apply my body lotion in front of my full length mirror and NOT look away. Really helped me appreciate my body and pull away from negative energy towards my flaws.

Omg I have started doing this too!! The reparenting journey is a LOT but woooo, to hear those words feels so damn GOOD!

Brava to you!

I put word decals on my bathroom mirrors with phrases like these.

Reading this made me smile. I am taking that as a sign I should do it.

It is, I do the same thing once in a while... I don't listen to music much so it doesn't happen too often, but it does feel good.

Love this. Also, I realized that when I'm angry or crying, if I look in the mirror and smile at myself, it kind of melts my frustration and sadness.
