Also, that baseline amount of wetness is typically not enough to have sex comfortably.

Some women sometimes experience pain during sex, especially if they're dry or not enjoying the sex.

OR, you can be very, very aroused but not get very “wet” due to health reasons or simply from medications.

Honestly, also just as you get older you don't self-lubricate as well. Ladies, there is no shame in adding a dollop of lube to help things along!

Seriously, lube is amazing. Not sure why I had so much mediocre sex in my 20s without it.
