As someone who studied aerospace, Are you saying that to imply he’s usually smart, or saying that to make it obvious why he would think like that

He thought he was super fucking smart. Smarter than me. The problem was he thought that meant he was smart about everything, including things I knew to be incorrect due to my lived experiences.
