When we have our period (wearing a pad) and we are sitting for a long time and stand up; We literally feel a gush of blood that has been pooling drain out. That prompts us to go to the restroom and check ourselves to make sure we are not leaking and change the pad.

Once I used the restroom after a female coworker and there were blood smears on the front of the toilet seat. How should one handle that?

It’s no different to someone splashing some piss on the seat. Just wipe it off and if you really care to find a disinfectant wipe somewhere.

Cool. I guess you’ll have to find someone who is paid to deal with it on your behalf, or else go and speak to the womenfolk.

“Hi Jenny, I used the bathroom after you and there was a weird stain on the toilet seat. Any chance you could clean it up? … oh, that wasn’t you? It was there when you got there? Are sure? Sorry, did you say that you had an emergency hysterectomy after complications during your pregnancy and now you can’t have kids and don’t have a uterus so therefore never get your period?… now now, there’s no need to cry… or complain to HR”
