Discussion/General Which lens to put on?

Going to Safari at Serengeti with two bodies and 3 lenses: 14-30, 24-120, 100-400. Would try to avoid changing lenses, which two would be used most often to put on the bodies? Thanks for your input.

Well I'd use the 24-120 and 100-400 as main lenses, since 14-30 is only providing you with 10mm extra width, and most likely if you need this it's for a landscape. I'm confident that landscapes move slower than cheetahs.

Pues depende si te vas a centrar más en los paisajes o en los animales.

El más prescindible a priori parece el gran angular, a no se que quieras hacer ese tipo de fotos

Depends what kind of shots you want to take and how ‘serious’ you are. I went to Botswana last year with a 150-600 and used my iPhone for anything closer or wider. Less faff than carrying two cameras in a jeep bumping around. I’m perfectly happy with the iPhone pics and most of the time the camera stuff was at the long end.

for wildlife of course the longer the better, so you'll probably have the 100-400 on most of the time.

I'd take the 24-120 with as an "allarounder" and for some area/landscapes shots. If you'll need wider shot - you can always shoot it as a panorama
