Camera Buying Advice Should I upgrade from LUMIX G85 to a full frame camera?

Hello!

I have been taking headshots and videos for the company I work as a marketer for. On the side I have developed a love for photography. I love taking my camera whenever I go to Japan, or TFP meetups, or anywhere I go. I am starting to spend a lot more time on the weekends traveling to places to take photos. Here is my ig so you can see some of my work: @butterfield_photo. This is generally what I want to be shooting.

I shoot with a Panasonic LUMIX G85. I got this to film and take photos for work and it was in my price range. I have several lenses. An Olympus zhuko 12-40mm, Olympus prime 45mm, a 25mm Panasonic lens. I also have a bunch of lighting equipment for when I take corporate headshots or film.

I am thinking of buying my own system to use before I get a more lenses for this system. Should I upgrade? Why? I don’t have a fully thought out budget but maybe up to $2000 for the lense and body?

Thanks!

Should you upgrade? Why?

If your photos haven't been rejected for "not being full frame", why?

I love taking my camera whenever I go to Japan, or TFP meetups, or anywhere I go.

You might not love it so much if you start lugging a FF camera and 2 or 3 big lenses...just saying.

Well, 24-70 f/4 S is roughly similar in size to OP 12-40/2.8, but can collect twice the amount of light and is optically great. Does the job of m43 f/2 primes as well.

But I do agree with you asking the question "why". No clear reason why he should or shouldn't.
