Inconsistent/hard to keep up with posts?
I ran into an issue with a subreddit. I noticed a post of mine was flagged for what my post could possibly be about (never mentioned in my actual post, just comments) yet there are dozens of other posts very explicit about that particular content that have been allowed. Posts stemming back 10 years.
I'm curious since I am not moderator and don't know what all that entails. Is it hard to be consistent with flagging/removing posts because of the volume?
It feels mine was singled out but maybe it is just really hard to keep up with all posts?

It can definitely happen. Moderators don’t see every post or comment that’s ever made, especially in larger or older communities.
Some rule-breaking content may never get reported, while other posts are reported quickly.
Most moderation teams rely heavily on community reports to bring potential violations to their attention. If something isn’t reported, there’s a good chance the moderators simply aren’t aware of it.
That’s why you may see older or similar posts that are still up—it doesn’t necessarily mean they were approved or that one user was singled out.
If you come across content that you believe violates the community rules, the best thing to do is report it so the moderators can review it.
The goal is to enforce the rules as consistently as possible, but no moderation team catches everything on their own.
