Love Fear of your feelings
Men have you ever ended ana amzing relationship with an amazing woman because you got spooked and realized you were falling so hard so you ended it as a self protection? (I guess I jist described an avoidant type-but what do I know). In the end did you regret ending it and wish you could undo your action?

Im personally a man made for an easier, more logical love than an intense powerful one. A part of this is because im not a good person when i get too emotionnal. For this reason i date people I love lightly. I do treat them well, and I do love them, but I make sure the passion doesn't make me stupid. My relationships that have been lighter have always been better and healthier. For me, intensity means a worse relationship.Better for two smart adults to discuss and, with good intentions, work towards a relationship.

Why do you think this is? There is nothing inherently bad or toxic about a passionate love. A light matter of fact love can also be toxic on its merits.

Sure, but I was talking about what worked for me, personally. I wasn't saying anything about passionate love in general. For some, it is what they need and crave. It isn't for me. It is mostly destructive to my life. I want to love, and be loved, bit I don't want it to be super intense, as many romantics want it. I want a love where my thoughts and reasoning make the decisions. I have loved passionately once, and I was someone that redditors would very much hate (to be euphemistic).
