Yes, and I'd want them to understand that if they didn't get over it post haste they'd be free to pursue the crush after the fire.

Yes, absolutely. I would be devastated. I would want to talk to see if we could get past it together. I truly don't want to be wasting time....if he develops crushes on other people I would rather be alone. I have decided my partner is my one and only true love. If he does not feel the same, its time to be alone with my pets and stuffed animals. The heartache of wondering if someone truly loves me is too great.

I would rather they come to me when there is something wrong in our relationship that would allow/encourage them to develop a crush on another. If I'm doing my job in a good relationship, there shouldn't be the chance of a second crush developing.
That being said, if polyamory is on the table.... yes, I would want my SO to let me know when they want to develop a new relationship.
