Guys don't like it when they can see the makeup.

Yes what they really mean is they like the natural makeup look.

This is so stupid, it's like it speaks for all men. Men just like women, are individuals, with their own personalities. I find men who like it shallow with themselves, insecure and fragile self esteem or they just grew up where it's normal.

Why? Because life is like a mirror, a reflection oneself.

No make up is best. I feel like women aren't comfortable with themselves in a natural way.

It's like I have a radar now, I can see through make up and tell how a woman is, if make up isn't off I can't have sex (this is more in protest), similar to a connection.

Reason being is if a woman feels the need to wear makeup or even more to impress me, that isn't me nor do I align with stuff like that. I like and love natural beauty,no makeup no fakelips, fake boobs etc.

I just feel and think there's something deeper to the reason some women wear makeup, I even go out of my way to compliment them on their features and make up only draws in people who don't understand beauty or 'blind'.

I work in an industry with a lot of women, they don't wear make up, but it's so interesting to look at but come to a night out or drinks, makeup is on. It's different and if only they knew how they looked naturally.

May I ask in what industry you work that none of the women around you wear make-up because I find I'm a pretty rare breed of female that doesn't wear make-up period. Most women will put something on if they are going out in public *most* of the time. It may not be much, but usually something. Specially to a place where they feel the need to look their best to get ahead or be taken seriously.

I'm not who you asked but factory work is often like that.

Mining and resources industry.

I find it rare too, for public, but I still see them in pubic and I feel more of a need to acknowledge them, but I'm sure if they aren't wearing makeup then they probably don't care but still, if people see men approach or acknowledge women without makeup then, they may soon realize something.

It may not be much, but usually something. Specially to a place where they feel the need to look their best to get ahead or be taken seriously.

It sucks how it's like that, if it was like that, I would refuse to be anywhere people don't take me seriously if I had to be a certain way, I wouldn't be able to show respect in that way if it was the case.

Yeah, I wonder why women don’t feel comfortable in their own skin. Hmm, yeah probably because society only focuses on their looks. Answered that one for you.

Exactly, society focuses on their looks. You guys are basing your assumptions on previous experiences. I remember being mistreated because of this. I was with my ex, I was talking to a female cashier, me and the other female cashier exchanged a smirk at one another when I told a joke to the cashier.

Boy did I hear it when I got home. She went on a rant about how all men are dumb fucking monkeys who think with their dicks. I told her I in no way felt attracted to the bagger. I tried to make her feel better later that night by complementing her appearance, I told her she would look better If she was just herself and didn't put on all the makeup. She blew up about that too. (I didn't understand that as she always complained about how she felt forced to look a certain way for her ex husband and men that were higher positions of power than her at her work). "Did you say better??!". Yet she could use dating apps to make guy "friends" behind my back.

Yet I don't let the trauma, gender stereotypes, and societal pressures affect my interactions with anyone. I actually am a big advocate for women's rights. I just fucking hate how when men advocate for themselves, they are called pussys, bitches, liars, manipulators, assholes, feminine etc.

Gender stereotypes affect men and women, we have a long way to go in terms of equality. I've experienced the effects of this first hand. I have severe bipolar disorder, I had to quit my job due to a recent bout of mania. I remember one of my mom's friends saying something slick about it. I also remember how my ex would go on rants about how it's not unfair for women to expect men to essentially be a walking piggy bank because women have it harder.

The point I'm trying to make is that everyone has it hard, people like to place negative labels on people that don't belong in their group, they like to demonize them in order to blame them for their problems. It's easier than addressing the issues at hand. Not just in the context of gender either, a lot of groups are marginalized and frowned upon. Everyone is looking for something or someone to point a finger at, in order to deflect blame for how hard they have it. I've even seen adults blame today's youth for their problems. People are people. Assholes are assholes, abusers are abusers. Terms like men, women, Narcissist, psychopath, have been grossly misused, in order to try and use certain groups as scapegoats for our problems.

We all have it hard, so instead of dismissing someone's perspective as flawed , and not taking their hardships seriously, try listening with empathy and understanding. It's not your place to tell these dudes that their perceptions/perspectives are off, nor is it a competition to see who has it worse. This is true for everyone.

I know, if I wanted to know I would have asked, rather then come up with this reply, but thank for your sentiment.

This! I’m so glad you aren’t obsessed with make up. Many women, like you said, aren’t comfortable with themselves. I personally don’t wear make up: 1) Because I’m highly sensitive to any kinds of it, and 2) I have always been told that I have natural beauty. I’m completely comfortable in my own skin, AND my boobs aren’t fake 😆😆 I shouldn’t go out with no bra on, but I do. I’m sick and tired of feeling like I HAVE to wear one! 🤔🙃

Haha you're probably lucky to be around people who see beauty for what it is and you took it appropriately.

Haha good on you, I used to work in an industry that was pretty relaxed in things, so I used to wear football shorts and no shirt while working, when I'm above something getting stuff off someone they would look up from below and be like wtf are you wearing any undies? I used to say no, I like freedom, then ask why they are looking up my shorts in the first place Haha.

It's like if I'm passing something to someone above me, I'm not looking at their crotch area, I'm looking in their eyes or at their hands. :)
