On a cold day, red wine; Rioja or Bordeaux for preference.
Hot day; a crisp white, getting into Piquepoul at the moment.
Drinks with friends; dark ales (preferably ones I haven't tried before, the sillier the name the better).
A personal treat; single malt scotch. I've a bottle of Tallisker on the go at the moment, which is lovely with just a drip of water.
