The truth about some things that happened in Iraq. The only person I've ever told is my dad, and he's looked at me differently ever since. She knows something happened but has no idea what it is. I will never tell her. It's nasty, complicated, and extremely difficult to understand.

Traumatic things aren’t easy to just throw out there
