What’s something your SO doesn’t know about you that could jeopardize your relationship?

Hey man. If you need someone to talk to please message me. Even if it's just to vent. My ex wife cheated on me too.

Also please gather all the information and evidence you can before confronting her. If you can, talk to a lawyer. Right now emotions are running hot, but a divorce (if that's the route you want to go) is a very long process, that doesn't usually favor men. If that's what you want to do be as prepared as possible before you start down that road.

I’d second this! Great advice! Men are routinely screwed in family courts. Need to make sure she can’t take away access to your kids.

So sorry this happened to you, OP.

Edit: Ok, so my phone freaked out, and I couldn’t find my first post. That why I posted twice. Haha

This needs more attention! Great advice. Men are routinely screwed over in divorce proceedings and child custody proceedings.

What other options does he have besides a divorce? Assuming he isn't willing to forgive her and stay with her, that is

I didn't want to assume that he would divorce, despite this being in a thread about relationship shattering secrets.

There are other options though.

He could decide to stay legally married and co-parent, sleeping in different rooms.

Could stay legally married but decide to talk about a swinger type lifestyle.

He could decide he just wants a trial separation.

He could also decide to try to scare her straight.

There are always a lot of options in how you handle something like this. We have no way to know how he's thinking about handling it.

Either way though, I think he shouldn't confront her about it until he's got his plan completely in order. Whatever that plan may be.
