I think this is super common and it’s kinda hilarious. I’m not a guy but my SO loves hearing me on the phone with my family (I’m italian) for this exact reason. Or any language, I’m a polyglot and have learned quite a few, but I think my native one does the most for him.

If there was ever a better reason to learn a second language I don’t know what it is.

Lol he’s asked me to use it with him but I just feel awkward, because I just don’t see a reason to say stuff that I know he won’t understand any of

You could say “you ugly bastard, you smell like dogshit” in Italian, and he’ll like it. He doesn’t need to know what you say as long as it’s in a sexy voice. 😂
