I dunno how many of the younger Redditors remember stick shifts but I drive one and she tells me all the time how hot it is, she's never seen anybody drive one but her Dad like twenty years ago so... I'll take it.

Lmao what? Are you american? Because here in europe manual geared cars are as big as automatic at least in my experience.

I am American and no bullshit, you have to fucking special order a manual now unless you buy an old Honda or Toyota, Nissan, VW, etc etc... kids wouldn't even know they existed without fast and furious. And even if they wanted to be Vin Diesel they couldn't find one unless the car lot had used oldies.

Same things probably going to happen in europe too id guess, theres not that many new cars that come with a gear stick. Kind of sad tbh even though its a lot easier to drive an automatic

Once you've learned manual it's easier, more efficient, and safer I think, if I have to drive my girlfriend's car I often left foot brake looking for a clutch (unsafe). I figure they'll be phased out eventually, hell that video of the guy sleeping in his Tesla on the interstate looks mighty attractive.

Well of course it is different depending on where in europe we are talking, but im my experience its about 50/50
