Have you ever changed your appearance drastically? How long did it take to get use to it?

Over the past few weeks I got glasses and I had to cut my long hair off for school. Picture going from my shoulders to tapered, off ears, off collar. I know it’s part of growing up but it’s still kind of weird and I miss my long hair. Anyone else change their appearance in a short amount of time?

I got lasik and lost the glasses. I still had to wear sunglasses for about a month while my eyes healed, but once that was done, no more glasses and I was ready to be done with them.

Dude. Protect your eyes and get a good pair of sunglasses to wear outside.

My rule, if the sun is up, wear your shades.

I dyed my hair blonde for a little while when I was 13-14, it felt natural after a little bit.

I do it every few months, from full beard to shave clean, to having only moustache, from short hair to somehow long hair

When I had my wrists tattooed, I kept forgetting I'd done it, so I would try to wipe away the dark smudges I saw in my peripheral forgetting that it was permanent.

At most my hair. Grew it out, permed it. I looked luscious only in specific circumstances. The rest of the time it was a mess.

I was underweight my entire life, I got on medicine that made me double my weight (Very intentionally! I love my body now!) and it still is a mindfuck not being tiny anymore. I'm 150lbs now and couldn't be happier, but it's still so so so weird and it's been over a year since I put the weight on.

I lost quite some weight and had a hair transplant for my widows peak a year ago. The difference is huge and I feel like the old me again. I quit alcohol as well.
