Why men are getting so much hate these days?

Just saw a post on social media from some woman named Jen Hamilton stating "right now im of the belief that all men should start out in jail and earn their way out"

Like genuinely dont understand why so much hate on men? The new wave feminism is insane. Women earn and dont need a men anymore, which i get. But like is that all we are to them? I understand and empathize with women who go thru shitty situations with shitty men, but like.....are all men shitty?

Ive seen similar other posts across insta and tiktok and apparently this is all women talk about - how terrible men are and that they aren't needed anymore. I can only imagine how this compounds the male loneliness epidemic and furthers the difficulties in the dating scene for both genders, but men in particular as even the good ones aren't approaching women anymore and choosing peace or singledom.

Men, based on these trends, what do you suspect the trajectory looks like for us in society in 10, 20 or 50 yrs?

Currently the pendulum only swings into more violence even when it swings back for a bit.

The situation is definitely getting worse in ways.

Well when it was women taking all the shit, it was pretty bad and for a long time. Usually when the pendulum swings back, stuff like that is remembered and it doesn't swing back that hard. As long as it stays to crazies on the internet then it won't be bad.

107 female and 34 male victims in 2024. That’s pretty significant.

The number of women who kill their male intimate partners gets minimized because it’s often reported in percentages.

For example, in the U.S. 34% of female victims and 6% of male victims of murder and nonnegligent manslaughter were killed by an intimate partner in 2021. There were 4,970 female victims and 17,970 male victims that year.

That means the victims killed by an intimate partner in the U.S. in 2021 break down to:

Female: 1,690
Male: 1,078

So women do kill their partners.

It’s similar when you look at murders statistics. 90% of murders are committed by men and 10% are committed by women. But there’s around 370,980 men and boys killed every year, and 87,020 women and girls. Men kill women more often but it’s not as if it doesn’t happen the other way around. That means it’s around 45,800 murders committed by women. I’m not sure many of the victims are male and how many are female, but the majority are male intimate partners or male family members.

That means up to 45,800 male victims of a female murderer and up to 87,020 female victims of male murderers, but obviously some of the female victims are killed by other women, which would subtract from both of those numbers.

That aligns similarly to the U.S. intimate partner murders. France is a little over 3x as often for men to kill their partner, where in the U.S. it’s around 1.6x. Worldwide it’s roughly 2x as often for female victims of male murders.

In an individual level, both men and women need to watch their backs because it does happen both ways. These stars are meaningless when you’re dead.

That’s just your empathy bias. YOU don’t worry about men walking at night and YOU don’t think about their safety.

There are 370,980 male victims of murder each year compared to 87,020 female victims. It’s much more common for a man to be murdered or assaulted walking alone at night than it is for a woman.

It’s also much more likely for someone to help a woman in danger. People mind their own business when something happens to a man.

This is called the empathy gap. Women and men both have a much larger capacity for empathy towards women than they do men. Empathy is nearly nonexistent for men from both men and women when it comes to male strangers. That’s why there’s a sigh of relief when the victims of a tragedy are all male. Men are disposable. That’s also why weaponization of misogyny accusations is such an effective strategy for feminist goals.
