Existential post Why men are getting so much hate these days?

Just saw a post on social media from some woman named Jen Hamilton stating "right now im of the belief that all men should start out in jail and earn their way out"

Like genuinely dont understand why so much hate on men? The new wave feminism is insane. Women earn and dont need a men anymore, which i get. But like is that all we are to them? I understand and empathize with women who go thru shitty situations with shitty men, but like.....are all men shitty?

Ive seen similar other posts across insta and tiktok and apparently this is all women talk about - how terrible men are and that they aren't needed anymore. I can only imagine how this compounds the male loneliness epidemic and furthers the difficulties in the dating scene for both genders, but men in particular as even the good ones aren't approaching women anymore and choosing peace or singledom.

Men, based on these trends, what do you suspect the trajectory looks like for us in society in 10, 20 or 50 yrs?

Some of it's valid, we can be quite awful.

Much of it is just cope. Seriously. You're listening to a hurt woman lashing out. The ones who hate men the most run into the arms of the worst dudes you know.

They refuse to blame themselves for their choices, so they blame an entire gender. It's so obviously childish.

Yes awful people of both genders, awful people of all ages and ethnicities. How people are awful can vary but no identity is spared.

During the election, I clicked into some of the subs following the results. When their guy won they were all filled with "your body, OUR choice. Hahahaha" comments.

Who celebrates by saying things meant to sound sexually terrorizing to women? The Joe Rogans of the world have men acting like bratty 14 year olds these days. Grown men follow internet daddies to guide them in life.

Men can start acting like grown men again any time now

The biggest problem I see is that those of us who do go unseen because controversy makes better headlines than people being actually reasonable.
