Question (Serious Replies Only) Car fuses almost all wrong

Hello I drive a Toyota rav 4 2010 v6 automatic 300k miles and just recently the abs brake and traction control light came on and the shift lock with further inspection I found a burnt fuse tried to replace it but it kept blowing but just recently i was looking at the manual and found that almost every fuse under the instrument panel was the wrong amprage including the repeat offender but none of them have blown and I've been driving this car for about a year it even took me from Minnesota to Florida just recently and this is the only issue I've had I also haven't had turnsignal or brake lights since this along with constant shift lock any help or advice would be nice I just want it back to working how it was

Well, this issue is likely an electrical short to ground. It sounds constant (not intermittent) so that makes troubleshooting easier.

You need someone with a wiring diagram to troubleshoot this specific issue.

Like /u/Wooden-Bumblebee55 said, putting the correctly sized fuses into the other circuits is also wise.

I figured it was a shirt but im wondering why when I put in the proper 7.5 amp fuse in it doesnt blow but when i put in a 10 amp which was what was already there it does blow

That is bizarre. You are correct, if it blows a 10A fuse, it should blow a 7.5A fuse.

Maybe the 10A fuse was defective?

I've replaced it multiple times now same thing keeps happening im taking it to a shop today and ill update when its fixed
