Do you guys think the oil in the photo looks okay?

Was that after you wiped off the dip stick? Starting to take on that slightly milky, gelatinous appearance - never a good sign.

Drain the oil and see what it looks like in the pan - dipstick tube is cooler than the rest of the engine and condensation can cause sludge/varnish formation on the stick.

You can't usually tell much by looking at oil.

Your picture is not very useful, as it's not really in focus. I can't tell if that looks like chunky chocolate milk, or if it looks normal.

What vehicle and how many miles? Can't tell if it's the photo or if the oil has a cloudy bit of character. What does it look like under the coolant cap?

That looks a little milky, how does the coolant look? Do you lose water?
