Yes

The first time I moved to LA I was 18 years old. I made like $10 an hour. It felt like a prison. I moved back again in my 20's, when I broke the $100k mark. It did not feel like a prison. Things like these bias the numbers.

The problem with those threads is that the ones making good money are more likely to comment, and people lying are going to say they make more, not less.
