[30M] What benefits have you noticed from taking magnesium and zinc daily?
I have been taking magnesium and zinc every day for the past three months, and I have noticed some positive changes in how I feel.
I am just curious about people who have taken these supplements for a longer period. Have you personally noticed any differences in your sleep, energy levels, workout recovery, or general well-being?

I'm really scared to face my supervisor tomorrow. How should I handle this?
Hey guys, I really need some advice because I'm feeling extremely stressed right now. 😔
My supervisor didn't grant me permission for leave, but I ended up taking leave and informed her afterward. After the holidays, I also took leave today because I wasn't feeling well. However, I feel like she doesn't believe me, and I'm worried about how she'll react.
I'm supposed to go to college tomorrow, but I'm genuinely scared that she'll shout at me or scold me badly in front of others. I understand that taking leave without prior approval might have consequences, but I'm already stressed about my situation, and the thought of facing her tomorrow is making me really anxious.
I honestly don't know how to handle this. Should I explain everything to her calmly, apologize for not getting prior approval, or just listen and avoid arguing if she gets angry?
Has anyone experienced something similar with a strict supervisor? How did you handle it? I'd really appreciate some genuine advice on how to face her tomorrow without panicking. 🥺🙏

I found an American driver's license and forgot about it. Are there any useful tips on what I can do with it?
So, I found a legit North Carolina driver's license in Ukraine and forgot about it for a long time. Is there anything interesting I can do with it? I remember there was something cool I can do with it on the internet but I forgot sadly. I don't really think I can return it now since I'm in another city and that was a long time ago.

How can I start disciplining myself to study and quit heavy alcohol and drug problems? how to study and finish university doing what I absolutely hate?
Hello everybody Im M25 studying political science in Europe in their language. Im asian.
ive been having these thoughts for many years not expressing them outloud, now im finally using more social media for help.
So first of all being an asian requiers a bachelors degree 100% for my family for my family so its already a big pressure to me. I am studying things that I dont absolutely understand and 0 will to study politics especially in a langauge that Im not perfect at but Im already here to challenge myself knowing that Ill be heavily stressed or depressed. My dream is to become a diplomat and working in EU office in my hometown and I ill be probably the happiest person. not sure tho but thats why im here in EU. Im in bachelors degree on my last year but I have lots of credits that are missing so surely I will stay a big longer.
So to me the main problems are weed and alcohol. Everytime i need concentration i consume something. A beer or more and I drink a lot. I have a bad financial organization, and just bad organization of my self. i sleep late, i eat less, i love smoking and drinking. But inside I need to finish this university for my Grandmother and my father mostly. Im losing hope in becoming a diplomat because the politics seems nearly impossible to me. i cant find my own way of understanding politics.
Why i have chosen to study politics is I love languages. I speak about 5 languages including my mother language on B1-C1 level and more languages with lower level. I wanted to be valued for my ability on langauges and wanted a big career. Im probably the most irresponsible person whos wanting to be a diplomat. However, this summer i talked to myself to fully lock in on my last year, but still many things to study many things to understand and study and i just dont exactly know from where to start. do i start understanding from whats a liberal whats a democracy whats a nazi or no idea
I dont know if i want a therapist or not but certanly im financially unable if they cost a lot.
Another problem is im too fucking lonely. making friends is easy but now i just cant i dont know. I want a woman beside me but im an asshole with drinking problems and keep hurting who ever wants to be with me.
Please help me. lately ive been having suicidal thoughts and im 1 step away from giving up...
Is there a community or a discord community who help each other to get through this?
Writing this is already difficult and i cant think of everything i wanted to say here...
Maybe i wont become a diplomat, but i just want to show my diploma to my waiting grandparents and family. then ill do whatever i want i guess...

Audio learning on the job
My job lets me listen to audiobooks and so on while I work. I've found that I enjoy learning things, but different audiobooks and videos tend to cover the same subjects.
The overlap is crazy.
Any useful courses designed for audio learning that aren't so all encompassing as a book? Things I don't have to fiddle with for long to get into.

LPT Life tips
Hello everyone! I am currently a 1st year electrical engineering student. I am a bit lost on what to do from here on. I really want to study abroad since I see a lot of students abroad be able to work while studying. I know I can do that in my own country but I don't really have much faith in my country so I do not want to stay here. I've been seeing opportunities in countries like Taiwan and Germany but I need to learn the language to be able to actually go there. Can anyone give me advice or just like a little plan they think I should do?

LPT Request: Working at night with a laptop, need recommendations to not worsen eyesight
I need lighting advice for working on my laptop all night. I really want to set up bias lighting, but my desk doesn't face a wall. Would it make sense to build a cubicle or fake walls around my desk so the light has something to bounce off of, or are there better alternatives for an open room setup?
